SURFACE TREATMENTS
Wood flooring should remain wood
that you can feel and touch, even when it needs a protective layer.
Berg & Berg’s durable surface coating guarantees preservation of
the natural characteristics of wood while giving optimal protection and
easy maintenance.
All Berg & Berg oil-finished
floors have been treated with oxygen-hardened Trip Trap Master Oil and
are Natureplus- certified. The purely vegetable-based oil penetrates
deeply into the wood and provides resistance to every day wear. At the
same time the floor retains its natural feel, stays warm and porous. A
partial renovation is possible without any problems.
The sealed Berg & Berg floors
are coated five times with Bona Masterlack, a matt UV acrylic finish,
free of solvents and formaldehyde. The structure of the wood remains
visible while also keeping a warm, natural feeling surface. The coated
surface is very durable, scratch-resistant and can be renovated several
times. Lifetime maintenance support provided by Bona.
