Construction of Solid Engineered Internal Doors (non fire doors)
Stiles and mid rails for are constructed with pieces of laminated timbers which are glued together and then veneered over to provide a much stronger stile or rail which will not twist or warp. The panels are raised and fielded on both sides and constructed of MDF with a timber veneer added to match the stiles and rails. using MDF in the construction avoids shrinking and splitting of the panel which can happen with traditional construction methods. Applying a real wood veneer provides greater uniformity in colour and improves the appearance of the door.
