One-strip planks consist of a single continuous piece of wood. Multi-plank designs are pieced together from 2 to 4 wood strips of different widths. This is what distinguishes Solid Wood Flooring from all varieties of the so-called multi-layer parquets, which consist of several wood layers that are glued together.
