Making A Purchase
We accept Visa and Mastercard. GBP sterling and GBP cheques. You may send your credit card information via phone, fax, post or securely over the Internet.

Shipping And Handling
Engineered & Laminate flooring and standard flooring accessories. Our standard Delivery cost is £39.00 + VAT . All other products will be as per quotation.  Costs will be calculated within the shopping cart prior to processing of order. Or you will be sent confirmation of your order and total cost payable by email, letter or fax. If uncertain about a charge please contact us for clarification of cost. International delivery charges if applicable will be confirmed. All costs are subject to VAT. back to menu

Tax Charges
For all orders 17.5% VAT will be applied to the prices displayed on product pages. Customers in countries outside the European Union should email or call +44 1603 404080 to make alternative arrangements.

Credit Card Security
All credit card numbers are encrypted in the shopping cart software when the order is placed. They are only decrypted after they reach our computer. They are not held in clear text on any web site.

Delivery Schedule
Speed of delivery may vary depending on whether the product is a stock item or if it is ordered specifically for you. Hamiltons will use best endeavours to deliver to customers within a reasonable time, and will inform customers of approximate delivery dates as soon as possible. If time is of the essence this must be expressly stated at time of order and stated on the confirmation of the order. All purchases are entered into with the understanding that the customer will be present and able to take delivery and responsibility for the products delivered to the kerbside on the date of delivery. If a delivery is not taken on the delivery date an additional charge may be made by Hamiltons to cover the cost of repeat delivery.

Product Images
All product images are for general illustration of product type. As wood is a natural product visual variations in natural products, texture, grain, and colour are inevitable. The company points out that all sales are entered into on the understanding that the photographic image of a product is not precise and differences due to scanning, your monitor's contrast, resolution and brightness settings are inevitable. Some accessory images are for general illustration purposes only and the type supplied that is relative to the products being ordered may vary from the item shown. back to menu

Mistakes and Errors
The product information and prices on this website are as accurate as possible but the user and purchaser accepts that mistakes and errors can occur, and agrees not to hold Hamiltons and any third party updating or maintaining the website blameless (no liability). Your statutory rights will not be affected.

Returns Policy
It is the purchasers responsibility to inspect the goods at time of delivery Once goods have been delivered even if signed for as not checked or not inspected or any other term meaning the same or similar, will be taken as meaning that the customer has inspected the goods and accepted them in good condition when delivered.

Returns and Cancellations for purchases of standard stock items can be returned within 7 days of receipt subject to the full order being returned with the original packaging, unused and received back to the Company in good condition. On occasion the Company will agree to a part return but this must be agreed in writing with the Company prior to a customer returning a part order.
In all instances the full cost of carriage will be paid by the purchaser and insurance of the goods is also the responsibility of the purchaser. All returns must be notified to us by either letter Fax or email before being dispatched. All credits will be processed within 30 days.

Special orders Flooring Doors and machined Timber sections that have been either specifically ordered manufactured machined and/or altered from their original specification. Pre-aged/distressed and products with a specialist colour finish are non refundable.
All returns and cancellations must conform with Distance selling regulations (DSR) which can be found at www.oft.gov.uk/shared_oft/business_leaflets/general/oft698.pdf

Guarantee
Any manufacturer's guarantees / warranties that are given to Hamiltons are passed on to the customer upon full payment being received. Your statutory rights are not affected.
